Born in Sidney, Maine, Phil (41) lives in Fairfield, Maine with his wife April of nineteen years, and son Jacob who attends Lawrence High School as a junior, honor roll student and also plays on the Varsity Hockey Team.

 

EDUCATION:

Phil graduated from Fort Kent Community High School and attended two years at the University of Maine Fort Kent studying criminal justices and computer science.  Phil served 9 years with the Maine Army National Guard where he received the Meritorious service award for stepping into a leadership role as just a PFC and rose to the rank of Sergeant E5

 

EMPLOYMENT:

With offices in Fairfield, Portland, and Belfast, Phil is the President of PR Construction Inc. and Belfast Glass.  He has worked in the construction industry for over 25 years.  Phil has worked for Forward Financial for several years where he gained part of his financial background. Phil is a member of Trinity Lodge No 130 A.F. & A. M, Anah Temple in Bangor, serves as Rotarian, and is a member of the Elks Lodge NO 964 in Augusta, Maine.

 

POLITICAL SERVICE:

Phil’s political activities finds him serving eight years as Vice Chairman of the Fairfield Town Council, Vice Chairman of the Somerset County Budget Committee, Executive Board Member of the Kennebec Valley Council of Governments, and Executive Board Member of the Kennebec Regional Development Authority (First Park). Phil is currently the Treasurer of the Maine Republican Party, and has been the State Committee Man for Somerset County.  Phil serves as the Treasurer of the Somerset County Republicans, and is Chairman of the Fairfield Republicans. Phil served as an alternate to the 2004 GOP National Convention in New York City.

 

Working on state, town, county, and economic development issues, Phil serves at the pleasure of the Central Maine Area.

 

COMMUNITY SERVICE:

Phil’s community involvement has been extensive, having served on the Executive Board of the Alfond Youth Center in Waterville Maine where he chaired the Building/Grounds Committee. Phil was very involved with the United Way of Mid-Maine, several years Kennebec River Trail, and is a Level 5 Master USA Hockey Coach and has coached many youth hockey teams in Winslow and Fairfield.
